My niece, Ava, turned 4 years old last Saturday.
So on Wednesday I took her out on a birthday date. We had a blast!
Ava, her mom, Courtney, and I went out to lunch at the "Mexico restaurant" as Ava called it. :)
Then I took Ava shopping and to the library.
I don't think she stopped laughing the whole time we were out. :)

Mom, Amanda and I took a trip down to Anderson yesterday. We spent the night and came home this afternoon. We had a really wonderful time! Beckisue and Andy came over for the evening.

Alicia Came to Visit.... AGAIN!

She got to come over for a few days this week. We are having a blast!
Yesterday she went with me to Indy for my voice lessons.
The poor dear had to hear all of my voice warm up... but she didn't die... ;)

After my voice lesson, while Monica and Amanda were taking theirs, she and I went out for coffee. Well, I had coffee, but that crazy girl doesn't like coffee. :P I'm still trying to figure out what happened to her that she is so weird! :D

Anyway, crazy or not, we have been having a wonderful time together!

Yesterday I drove over to Lafayette to hang out with Sarah and Naomi. We went ice skating, ate dinner at Naomi's house, watched tv, and just had a wonderful time talking and catching up on each others lives. :)
When the three of us are together there is never a loss for words. We even talk over each other sometimes. ;)

New Years Eve

I spent the weekend at my friend Alicia Healey's house so we could do stuff for new years eve. We had a blast!
We stayed up late on Friday talking, slept in late on Saturday, and just had a fun relaxing day.
We watched Pirates of the Caribbean 4 and The Patriot. :)

It has been way too long since I have updated my blog, and since so much has happened with my family this year I thought it was about time that I posted about it. :)

The newest big event in my family was my brother Jonathan getting married to Courtney Jones last Saturday, the 17th of December.
We not only have the addition of another sister-in-law, but with Courtney comes a wonderful little niece, Ava. <3

In October, my first nephew was born. Robert Eschol Cosby the forth, (Cole, for short).
He is a little bundle of joy. I got to meet him for the first time last week, and we have all been enjoying him very much!

On July second my sister, Beckisue, married Andy Knight. We have loved having Andy in the family, and the wedding was absolutely beautiful! All of the siblings were in it. :)
I will try to post pictures of that later on.

Summer Nichole Cosby was born to Dale and Michelle on April eighth.
She is the sweetest baby I have every been around, and we are so thankful for the wonderful addition she has made in our family. <3

A Really Fun Weekend with Alicia!

Over this past weekend I had my friend, Alicia, over. We had a really good time.

She got to my house at 6:56 Friday morning and for those of you that don't know me too well I am NOT a morning person but I got up just for her and I really wasn't that tired for most of the day. When her mom called to ask if she could come over my mom said that was fine IF I could still do school on Friday. So Alicia brought her math book with her and we spent most of the morning (after we watched some Celtic Thunder) doing school. The surprising thing is that we actually did get a lot of school done and we were even in the same room together. I guess I can stop talking if I really need to. ;)

Friday afternoon we went into town and got ice cream. From there we went to Family Video to get a couple movies and we went to Walgreens to get some pictures printed out. Then we went to Wal-mart to kill some time and we got candy for that night. Mmmmm...

Amanda, Alicia and I watched The Pink Panther together and then after Amanda went to bed Alicia and I started in on Celtic Thunder. :D

We watched the interviews and all of that first then we watched their first concert DVD and then we played cards. Then at like 3:00 or something like that we went outside but it was so cold we came right back in! Then we watched my new concert DVD and got some food. ;)

We were trying to stay up till 6:54 so I would say I has been up for 24 hours but I was way too tired so we turned the TV and light off at 6:15. :P

On Saturday we cleaned the house and went for a long walk. That was so fun! Then we made Buckeyes. Mmmm I LOVE those things!

The day before we had gotten some sticker tattoos from Walmart so we put them on. They were St. Patrick's Day tatoos. Very fun!

That evening we started working on a collage of pictures of the two of us starting in 1994 when we were 1 and 2 1/2 We were SO cute! :D heheheheh

I think it's going to turn out really well. I can't wait till we finish it!

On Sunday when she went home from Church it was sad to see our really fun weekend come to an end but I'm so glad we got to have it! She is such a special friend and I thank God for her!

One of these days I will get around to posting Christmas pictures. Sorry it has taken me so long. :P Maybe sometime this weekend I will get a chance.

For now I have a family picture that was taken when Rob and Chrissy were here in November.

There are 8 kids in my family and there were 8 kids in my grandma's family. We match her family all the way down. Boy, girl, girl, boy, girl, boy, girl, girl. Both families are just the same. Back when my grandma was young they had a family picture taken so we decided to have a picture taken the same way. So here they are.

On the 28th of November I turned 18 but since things have been so crazy around here I haven't gotten around to posting the pictures until now.

For my birthday I wanted to go ice skating so we found out that there was an ice skating rink about an hour from us so we all went over and spent the afternoon in the wonderful out doors in the ice. I was so worried that it was going to be cold but it wasn't. We couldn't have asked for a better day!

That night we had pie and ice cream. Mmmmmm it was really good! My sister, Amanda, makes the best pie! Jim and Marge Foster came over for a little while and we all had a good time.

Some of us watched Pirates of the Caribbean and then to finish off my birthday Alicia and I stayed up until after 2:00 am so we were tired the next day. :)

Well, again it has been a long time since I have posted.

A lot has happened since the 9th of November. On the 16th my Grandma went home to be with the Lord. We all miss her but we are happy for her. She isn't suffering anymore and she is with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We had a funeral for her on the 21st. Rob, Chrissy and Kiera had gotten in just a few days before so they were here for it and most of the cousins that live back here were able to come too. Most of us grandchildren did music and Rob and my cousin Keith both preached. It was hard saying goodbye to my grandma but in some ways I haven't had her for several years. When she and my Grandpa moved in with us almost 5 years ago she already had Alzheimer's even though we didn't know it at the time. Her mind was going then and it just got worse over time. It was very hard seeing my grandma like that but what's even worse is that that's the grandma I will remember. I was 13 when they moved in and before that all the memories I have of her are just short visits. My Grandma was a wonderful godly woman and I hope and pray that thats what I will remember. I am so thankful for the heritage that God has given to me.

Rob, Chrissy and Keira got here on the 18th so we have been having a wonderful time with them! Keira is so Beautiful! She was just over 3 moths when they got here and it was the first time we got to see her.

On the 24th I got my drivers permit so I can drive now! I love it! I was pretty nervous but I passed.

That night we had our family Christmas exchange since Rob and Chrissy were here and they aren't going to be here at Christmas time. Amanda had my name and she got me a beautiful bracelet, Singing the the Rain and the Charlie Zahm concert DVD. I LOVED all of it. After I opened my gifts from her she gave me another package and said it was from someone else. So I opened it and it was 2 Charlie Zahm CDs. I was really happy about getting 2 more DCs of his but I was still wondering who they were from so Amanda tells me they were from Charlie Zahm. I was like "oh my word!" my jaw probable hit my lap I was so surprised! When we were at the Reformation Faire in IL. in October Amanda ordered the DVD from him and when he sent it he sent 2 CDs for me for Christmas. I was very excited!

On Wednesday we all went to my mom's side of the family down in IL. We stayed there over Thanksgiving and had a WONDERFUL time! Two of Jonathan's friends from collage came down and spent Thanksgiving with us and then stayed the weekend. On our way home on Friday we met some friends of ours at the mall so we did some shopping and then we went out to dinner.

Saturday was my birthday so we went Ice Skating. It was a BLAST! Alicia came down for that and then she spent the night. We had my birthday dinner and apple pie for dessert. The Fosters' came out to have dessert with us and we had a great time together.

Some of us watched Pirates of the Caribbean that night. I love that movie and it had been a while since I have seen it. It was as good as I remembered. :)

Jonathan preached for Church on Sunday. He did a very good job. It was a good sermon.

After Church Jonathan, Nate and Bobby went back up to school. I miss them already. :(

Well, I think that is most of what been going on lately.

My busy life

Oh my! It has been a long time since I have posted anything. But that's because I have been super busy. I will tell you about some of the stuff I have been doing the last week and a half.

On Thursday, Oct 29th, my Mom, sisters and I went to Union City, IN. for Jonathan Shepherd's baby shower. That night Beckisue, Rhonda, Amanda and I spent the night at my cousin's house and then on Friday we went to a Homeschool Alumni party. We had a lot of fun! We played games, danced and talked. We did ECD (English Country Dancing) and Swing dancing. I will try to post pictures from that soon. I had done ECD before but that was the first time I had Swing dancing. It was a BLAST!!!! :D

That night we went back to my cousin's and then we came home sometime Saturday afternoon. Then Sunday was of course Church and I'm thinking we did something after Church but I can't remember. I must be loosing my mind. ;)

Then on Monday I went to work early in the morning and then straight from work I went to the Foster's to help them put up their Coca-Cola Christmas decorations in their Coca-Cola room. I didn't get home until 9:30 that night. Then Tuesday was pretty much the same thing.

A few weeks ago we had two Mormon Missionaries over for dinner and my dad invited them back for sometime when they wanted to discuss Theology. So last Wednesday one of the guys came back but this time he brought another guy with him. We we all gathered in the living room while Dad told them what the Bible says and then they told us all about what they believe. It was VERY interesting.

Then on Thursday I think I didn't do anything more then school and stuff around the house. On Friday I went over to the Foster's again to finish up the Coca-Cola room. Saturday was cleaning day. Sunday was Church and then I had my friend Tara over for the afternoon. That evening My sisters, our friend Kaylynn and I had a "girl party". :) We ate pizza and chocolate and we watched Emma. Very Fun!

Today all I did was went to work, did school and this evening most of my family and I went to the Foster's so I could show them "my room". Since I decorated almost all of the coca-cola room, Mr. Foster keeps calling it my room. :)

So thats what I have been doing lately.

For those of you who don't know, my Grandma has cancer. We aren't expecting her to live much longer at all. We are counting this as a blessing because her mind has gotten so bad with Alzheimer's so we are thankful that God is taking her home so she wont suffer anymore. My Grandma has been a wonderful mother and grandmother for many years so we are all going to miss her but we will rejoice in the fact that she will be going home to be with the Lord and her husband. I am so thankful for my godly heritage. God has been so good!

Reformation Day Faire

Last weekend was the Reformation Day Faire in Illinois. My family, along with Alicia, got to go to it. We had a wonderful time! There was a lot of history we learned and we got to fellowship with other Christians.

Charlie Zahm did the music for the weekend and it was so beautiful and fun!

They had the Highland games for all the guys and then on Saturday night they had an ECD (English Country Dance). That was one of my favorite parts of the weekend! I had so much fun. Some of the dances were kinda hard to learn at first but most of the time once the music started it was pretty easy. There was only one dance that I knew so I had the most fun with it but all the dances were awesome!

I can't wait to go to it again next year! I hope Charlie Zahm is there again. His music is AMAZING!

We all got to talk to Charlie Zahm for a while on Saturday and it was wonderful! He is a really nice man. I enjoyed getting to know him. :)

Mom's birthday was three weeks ago and I am just not getting around to posting the pictures.

We all went out to the Kohkohma for her birthday and spent the day. It was a lot of fun. The Kohkohma is a reenactment from I think the early 1700s.

We had a lot of fun and mom got to spend the day with one of her granddaughters so she was really happy! :)

I have two things to post about today. The first thing is that today is Rhonda's 24th birthday.
She had to work all day today so we celebrated yesterday.
We went over to the Sucharski's house to go swimming and oh that was fun! Then we had birthday dinner and while we were eating cake and ice cream we watched the movie Taken. It was a very fun day... at least I think so, I hope Rhonda does too. :)

Ok, now for the second thing I was going to post about. I started my blog a year ago today. I can't believe it's been a year already! Time goes by so fast! A lost of things have happened this past year. We went from coast to coast this summer and we have gone on a lot of other trips. We went up to Michigan for the Preachers conference that is at Pastor Townsend's church every year. As always that was a lot of fun!

The most important thing that happened is God blessed me with a new niece. I have already posted about that so I don't need to go into detail. :) A lot more happened this year but most of it I posted about and if I didn't I guess it's not that important.

I would really like it if everyone that gets on my blog would comment please. I want to get as many comments as I can.

Thanks to everyone that actually keeps up with my blog, I know it can be really boring sometimes. :)

When we met we really didn't like each other that much but things soon changed. :)

By December we were talking to each other on gmail chat all the time so when I went up to Michigan for a wedding at her church on December 13th I spent the night at her house.

By the time we stayed up until 5:30 that morning we knew each other really well!

And so we started talking to each other even more! But now it was on the phone, sometimes for a few hours at a time.

So when the Preachers Conference rolled around again this year we wanted to spend the whole time together but Anna wasn't able to make it to the meeting. Thankfully I got to go over and spend two days with her. One day we went shopping with her mom, sister and sister-in-law and then the other day we got to just hang out at her house and talk. :)

I have been meaning to post about this since Sunday but I just have been so busy this is the first chance I have gotten.

On Sunday, August 16th my beautiful niece Keira Alise was born. She was 7 lbs 1 oz and 19" long.

My mom flew out to AZ on Saturday and she will be there for a few weeks to help Chrissy with the baby. I'm sure she just hates having to watch her new granddaughter. :)

One of the days we were in California we went to the Maritime Museum. It was so cool! We got to go through six ships. One of them is the ship that was used in the making of Master and Commander. I love that movie so it was really cool to get to see the ship that's in it. :) There was a Submarine that we got to go through. That was cool!

Well we are home from Boston. That was an amazing trip! The Vision Form conference was very good but on our way to Boston we went to New York state and we got to see Niagara Falls. That was awesome! We also got to go to Maine and see the ocean. I saw the Pacific and the Atlantic in one month. That was really cool!

We all learned so much at the conference about John Calvin and the Reformation. John Calvin was such a godly man! We heard about John Knox, Martin Luther, George Washington and so many more. I will try to post more about our week with in the next few days. Through the week they had special music by Charlie Zahm. I LOVE his music! It is so beautiful! One afternoon I asked him if he was going to do Lord of the Dance that night and he said that he wasn't plaining on it but he would for me. So that night he did that song and oh man it was Beautiful!!! Here is a recording of Lord of the Dance by Charlie Zahm. It's not a very good recording but it is all i could find on youtube. On the 24th of May my family got on a plane and we flew to California. We went out there for my oldest brother Rob's graduation from seminary. We had so much fun spending the week with Rob and his wife Chrissy! We went to the beach twice, Old Town San Deigo, a tour of 7 different ships, a Fullerton baseball game, some of the family went to a Dodger game but while they were at the game Mom, Chrissy and I stayed home to visit and we watched a chick flick. :) Of course there was Rob's graduation and the party after that. We did so many things while we were out there! I will try to post a lot of pictures is the next few days to come but for now here are some pictures from our first day at the beach.

The Water was a little cold when we first got in but it wasn't to bad after a while.

Last Wednesday dad went up to Northland to pick up Jonathan and two of his friends. They came home on Friday night and then last night we had a teen night at our church. It was so much fun! We played some games and Will Robins gave his testimony then after that one of Jonathan's friends that came home with him gave a little sermon that was Very good! It went with what Will said so will! I got a new hoodie for Christmas and the other day I put the hood up and started chasing Heather around. Well Heather loved it and she started calling me "Monster"! It is really cute! So I am no longer "Teps" I am now "Monster Teps". :D

Christmas and some Exciting News!!!

I can't believe that Christmas is already over!
It comes and goes so fast!
Well This year was a lot of fun! Almost all of us were together here at home.
The only ones that couldn't make it were Rob, Chrissy and Jonathan. They were all out in California. Since we couldn't all be together we used video chat on the computer so it was like we were all together. It was so fun. Dad read Luke 2 and then we all prayed and opened presents.
Now for the exciting news!
When it was time to get off of video chat, Rob said "Merry Christmas from all 4 of us!"
Yes, Rob and Chrissy are going to have a baby!!!!! We are all so EXCITED!!!! Heather is going to have a cousin on this side of the family! Anyway... It was a wonderful Christmas! God has blessed me with such a special family!

Hey everyone!
My birthday was yesterday for all of you who didn't know. And I am now 17! Well a week ago Alicia Healey came over for the weekend. It was a lot of fun! We laughed so hard we couldn't breath a few tames! :D
Anyway Brian Smith's birthday is 8 days before mine. So for the last two years we have had him over to celebrate our b-days together. So he came over last Saturday while Alicia was here. We had pie, played some games and watched Princess Bride!
Jonathan came home for Thanksgiving so he was here for my b-day!!! I was very happy about that!
Well yesterday Mom, Beckisue, Rhonda, Amanda and I went shopping!!! I LOVE shopping!!! Well after we got home we were all eating lunch and talking about Will Robbins and how Jonathan wanted to meet him but he wouldn't be able to this weekend while he is here. Then we got an idea. Will was staying the weekend at his sisters house and baby-sitting her dauther. So we decided to take my b-day dinner over there and have it with him. So we did! Oh it was so much FUN getting to spend my 17th birthday with Will and most of my family!
